Cause of cancer – What is the cause of cancer that you should be aware of?
Cause of cancer
Cause of cancer. What are the causes of cancer? Cancer is caused by GERMS. This is a proven fact in spite of the vast smoke-screen of misinformation which is kept ever stirred up. Some of this is pure propaganda, some of it pure ignorance, but much of it is a deliberate effort to keep the public giving, ever giving, to the so-called research funds.
What is the cause of cancer?
What are things that cause cancer? Cancer is caused by two germs working as a team.
The first of these two germs is Glover’s bacillus; the second is Nabel’s organism, a staphylococcus.
- Cause of cancer – Glover’s bacillus. Glover’s bacillus got its name from its discoverer, the Glover of the U.S. government team, Glover and Engel, of Washington, D.C., which was detailed to do animal research in cancer.
- Cause of cancer – Nabel’s organism. Nabel’s organism got its name from Dr. Nabel of Switzerland who, many years ago, demonstrated that in every cancer case examined he could stain the red blood cells and find in part of the stained cells shot-like organisms.
At the same time Glover and Engel were working on animal cancer in Washington, D.C., Dr. Roos and Chauncey Smith at Loma Linda, California, which, by the way, is the largest Grade A medical school in the west, were doing work on human cancer. There is a large hospital at this site, although not a part of the medical school itself, yet its close association makes it advantageous. And from its operating room plenty of specimens were available . . . specimens from which this California team were successful in growing always the same germs.
Just what happened to break up the successful work of these two men is not so important as is the fact that it was broken up. But Chauncey Smith, the bacteriologist of the team, wanted to complete the research they had so successfully begun. Especially was this a fact when the reports reached here that Glover had succeeded in passing his organism through KOCH’S POSTULATES.
Since he had to have someone to get him cancer cases to study, and since the “Professional Secrets” book author happened to be active in treating cancer at that particular time, and since he and I had worked together when I, too, worked in the Loma Linda laboratories, he approached me.
Cause of cancer – Cancer came from germs
It was easy for me to be persuaded. Cause of cancer, I have believed that cancer came from germs ever since I read that fact from an authoritative book written and published before I was born, a book which the students of Loma Linda still study as a part of their medical course. In that book is the statement that it is growing more and more dangerous to eat meat since that meat often contains the germs of cancer and tuberculosis.
What better place to state the absolute corroboration of this fact than right now! When Glover was doing his research he went to the slaughter pens. There he saw a steer with a lumpy jaw killed. The head was instantly requisitioned by him, but the body proved clean and the carcass was passed by the inspector. But Glover was not satisfied. He followed that beef to the cannery where it was processed in cans for W.P.A. consumption. As the cans came off the conveyor belt, he requisitioned several. These he took to the laboratory where he had the head, and opening them carefully to avoid contamination, he plated the contents out in his incubator and began to watch. Five days later he had a copious cancer growth from the contents of those cans. And they had been subjected to the necessary steam heat required to can beef successfully. That is why Seventh day Adventists are advised to abstain from the use of even clean meats in this age when disease is so prevalent among practically all domestic animals, and among fish propagated in hatcheries.

Cause of cancer - This microphotograph was taken from the germs recovered from a breast cancer. Notice in some of the germs the small white spots. These are spores which failed to stain, and so are not dark. These spores are capable of bursting into life after ordinary cooking. This is a young culture of the germs, so some of them are short and some long. When they get old these germs will not stain, hence when cancer tissue is stained, the old cancer germs living in it become invisible. Only by culturing may their presence be proved. This germ has been named "Glover's Organism," in honor of its original discoverer.
Cause of Cancer Research
Now back to that cause of cancer research: we decided to go ahead, and so he gave me my first supply of culture tubes.
“These tubes,” he explained to me, “have in them a nutrient broth such as we use in all blood culture work to which I have added one gram of calf brain. That is what you see in the bottom of the broth inside the tube. After that is put in, the tube is sterilized inside a pressure cooker for an hour, then left to cool before the lid is opened so as not to interfere with the cotton plugs. When you take the blood, you can plunge the needle down through the cotton and squirt the blood in and then withdraw it. Or you can lift the plug carefully and squirt the blood in and then reclose the tube, but there is more chance of contamination in this latter course.”
I began to bring him blood cultures. These blood cultures I took from cases of known cancer, and from those on which I made the original diagnosis of cancer.
And this is how I made the original diagnosis of cancer, what is the cause of cancer:
First, I took a history. Most of the cases had a history of cancer in their immediate family, although some did not, but they feared cancer because of certain symptoms. With these symptoms every physician is familiar.
Next I took a red blood count in a red counting pipette. For dilutant I used a carefully prepared one per cent sodium chloride solution, which is known to be distinctly hypertonic.
This solution of diluted blood I mounted in a regular counting chamber and slid it under the microscope, focused the high power lens, located my first counting field, and began to count. And this is what I found there:
Every normal and healthy cell in that solution was all crenated . . . shriveled up by the hypertonic salt solution . . like olives pickled in brine to remove the bitter from them.

Cause of cancer - Artificial cancer. Grown in the laboratory from germs shown in photograph No. 2. Notice the uneven mass formed by the germ colony and the numerous branching roots extending away from it. Thus we find the cancer bacillus forming a real cancer on artificial media and sending out real shoots from it the same as it does within the body. It is this growing of roots which enables us to pick out this germ with readiness from a media plate on which many mixed germ colonies are beginning to grow.
