What are the symptoms of cancer?
What are the symptoms of cancer – Two Important Questions
So we find today a real need of a change, a change that will meet the situation in a scientific manner and answer the unanswerable questions which thinking men and women have been raising during all these years when their loved ones have been doomed to go to untimely and horrible deaths by terrible cancers.
The first of those questions is, “What causes cancer?” And the next is like unto it, “What will cure cancer?”
Without knowing the answer to the first, it is impossible to attempt the answer to the second; but now the answer to the first has been proved, as will be set forth presently, the answer to the second will likewise follow. And any answer which any physician might attempt which fails to recognize the proven answer to the first, belongs not to science, but to the realm of the “witch doctors” of past ages.
What are the symptoms of cancer – Symptoms Of Cancer
Anyway, what are the symptoms of cancer? Dizziness is present in 80 per cent of cancer cases, often fifteen to twenty years before the growth is found.
What are the symptoms of cancer? Here are part of symptoms of cancer – Terrific headaches, neuritis, blind spells, loss of balance and head noises are quite common early symptoms.
Any tumor which grows perceptibly is suspicious of malignant cancer. Any tumor of slow growth which begins to grow rapidly indicates that the benign tumor has probably taken on fresh cancer germs, and is therefore becoming malignant.
What are the symptoms of cancer – Persistent loss of weight in the face
Persistent loss of weight in the face of desire to gain, persistent loss of strength, yellowing of the skin, anemia, vomiting, hematemesis, bleeding from bowels, excessive gas, and persistent pains and soreness of the abdominal and liver regions, are all common symptoms of cancer, one or more of which may be the only clue to show the presence of early cancer.
“Remember that persistent gastric symptoms, appearing for the first time in a patient . . . who has previously digested everything easily, are in them-serves presumptive evidence of cancer.” — “Wheeler’s Handbook of Medicine,” by Wm. R. Jack, B.Sc, M.D.
Blood-streaked vaginal discharge, or uterine hemorrhage of unusual character, calls for a blood test to determine if cancer is the cause of the disorder.
What are the symptoms of cancer – Diagnosis Of Cancer
In making a diagnosis of cancer, as in making diagnoses in other diseases, it is necessary to correlate every bit of evidence before a diagnosis is attempted. First, take the above-cited symptoms. They are, almost every one of them, present in other maladies one time or another. However, when they become chronic, that is, when they persist after treatment seems to clear up the local or temporary manifestations of disease, then they must be considered with grave suspicion and classed as pointing strongly toward a diagnosis of cancer.
What are the symptoms of cancer – Every tumor is not cancer
While every tumor is not cancer, yet every cancer is a tumor of some type or other. Some cancers, it is true, like the rodent ulcers, break down so much tissue that only a microscopical study will show the added cancer cells. Yet the extra cells are there and roots may be detected by applying discriminating chemicals.
Early cancer is a more difficult thing to diagnose. The person will probably have little or no pain. Perhaps some slight stomach trouble may manifest itself. Biopsy is impossible and any tumor present is too small to recognize. Or, if recognized, it is too deep to remove surgically for cell study. So we must resort to symptomatology and blood tests for all such cases.
Remember, the blood test is the only reliable means of diagnosing early cancer; the X-ray will not show the growth until the case is too far gone for safe treatment.
What are the symptoms of cancer – From Our Observations
As has been pointed out, the United States Government is now authority for asserting the germ cause of cancer. (See reprint No. 1564, U. S. Dept. of Public Health.) Therefore, regardless of possibly well-meaning but poorly informed physicians saying otherwise, or regardless of the tremendous pressure brought to bear on officials and politicians by the commercially-tninded medical organizations in an endeavor to keep the truth from the people and so save their tremendous anguish incomes, only those methods which strike at cancer from the blood stream are anything better than rank quackery.
What are the symptoms of cancer – Cancer Treatment
To treat early or late cancer by X-ray or radium is identical with attempting the eradication of devil grass from one’s lawn by digging up the first shoot that appears above the ground. A cancer thus treated may, if it was indeed a real cancer, disappear for a time, but will invariably break out again at the same site or at some other place. If it happened to be a wart or a mole or some other freak growth diagnosed “cancer” for effect, with no blood or hereditary origin, then the “cure” may be permanent, providing the radium or X-ray does not make a burn that is worse than any cancer, and which has been known to prove fatal in many cases.
Of all “quack” treatments for cancer, radium and X-ray head the list, and it is regrettable that they have been legitimatized, thus duping thousands of sincere seekers for relief. Surgery for cancer is little better, except that it leaves no incurable after effects.
