Healthy Christmas Cookies

In the hustle of the holidays, having a healthy(ish) sweet treat to share at gatherings is key! Festive treats that you feel good while eating and after too. 😘 These are also perfect pre-workout. Enjoy!

Chocolate Raspberry Protein Balls

Ingredients
3/4 cup nut butter
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 scoops vanilla @toneitupnutrition protein
2 tbsp slivered almonds
1/2 cup freeze dried berries
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions
Mix all ingredients very well in a large bowl with hands (may take awhile – use dem muscles 💪🏼). Roll into rounded tablespoon size balls. Freeze/refrigerate for an hour before trying for best consistency.

Cranberry Almond Oat Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup chopped almonds
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup almond butter
2 eggs
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
Whisk oats, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in almonds, cranberries, and chocolate. Combine all remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and mix well. Using a spatula, add wet ingredients to dry oat mixture. Combine well. Drop rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for approximately 12 minutes.
